Its always good to work in our country, but Ponte de Limas was really special.
Full setup for canoe marathon, with GPS and the inclusion, for the first time, of the green screen for pictures of all participants in the tv graphics. What a blast this was.
Around 500 masters in two days folowed by the paracanoe events and then the juniors, U23 and Seniors.
Some new GPS graphics were also presented in this event.
This one was a big challenge for us, with limited conditions for the timing services provided by the local OC, special for the sprint races.
Beach races were good, but again more challenges adapting the shedule of the different events, due to bad weather and sea conditions.
In the end all services were provided, including, for the first time in SUP , the green screen and video for athletes presentation for more than 400 persons.
Memosoft was the official scoring and Timing supplier for the 2022 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World championships 2022.
Event was hosted in Halifax - Canada, from 3 to 7 of August. Our TV Graphics team was also on site providing this service to the Host Broadcaster.
This year we provided for the first time in world events, the boat brands of each participant and also new tv graphics package, including finsih line new layouts and specially new data for the 5000 races.
